01's also had the bad intake deal....... Cobra owners were getting beat at the track by GTs back when they first came out. Ford did a recallish deal and fixed the problem. Coletti killed the '02 for USA because of the '01 hiccup. I read in an article that he went on the test run in the '02, told them to hit the store, went in and bought some dog food and told the driver to "feed this dawg"

Maybe my memory is going bad, but I thought it was the 99 Cobra that had the "tune" issue and that was why the only Cobra for 2000 was the Cobra R.
