If I was a betting man, that is what I would bet.

Both have nitto tires on factory wheels. And both have full suspension.

What do you think he would run? I have $100 on this and want to get a good idea of what to expect. We are set to run Saturday in the local 1/8 mile.
I rode in a 03 mustang gt with exhaust that raced an s2000 lol.

After owning both those cars, the Mustang very obviously started one gear too high in both of those races.

which nitto tires?

you went 7.5 on them ? dif you trap like 96 or something ? the 555r is junk

if that cars tuned properly I think it'll come down to the 60 as aforementioned

The Camaro will win. Having owned both cars, i can say the 2v's are God awful.

What is with these mustang guys running non intercooled supercharger kits? We have a kid around here who put a non i/c vortech on his GT.. makes no sense to me.

The centrifiguls don't heat soak. They are consistent run to run. With an intercooler or meth you can add a few degrees of timing and make more power though. I have been to the track with a non intercooled Vortech and ran within .1 second back to back all day without ice or cool downs between runs.
Since your post count is still at zero you obviously haven't contributed anything to this site yourself, all you do is come into any thread that has anything to do with a ford and nutswing for them like there's no tomorrow, you should change your name to automach Jr.
I lol'd

OP, depends on the set-up and driver for the GT. Majority of them are not properly set-up, but you'll run into a few that are. \

Props on the 7.5 with nitto on a 6-speed

Waiting for results.

I have a clue darling, because I have taken out plenty of 4.6,5.0 mustangs with my Ls1!

A 4.10 gear MACH against an auto, 2.73 and you run even? Are you sure about that?

Yes, here's that mach 1 with 4.10's/axleback and cat delete vs full bolt on(mods i know of are cai/tb/x pipe/3.73's/axleback and slicks/skinnies) 3v mustang.

I am dead even with both of these cars.... thats if the mustangs nail every shift perfectly. Every other time I win because i pull some in between shifts if they don't hit shifts bang on.

Oh, so because you've "taken out" some 4.6/5.0 mustangs, that means you know the exact outcome of this particular race, right? You're a fool.

Only had stock 3.55s then plus you would have to take DA into account.
Regardless anything is possible on the street but gears have a tendency to give a pretty good jump on the initial hit. Plus the time for an auto trans to downshift takes a little time and those 2.73 will do nothing for acceleration.

Just looking at this based on pure mechanical advantage of steep gearing plus a 5 speed vs an auto with 2.73s. I could understand if you had a big stall.

Anyway, you have a strong running Z/28 man!

Thanks man! Yeah it runs better then most stock/near stock ls1 cars i see at the track!

From a dig he spins and i get 1-2 cars ahead and it stays that way. From 20-30 roll it's basically dead even... In that when no shifting is going on it's dead nuts.

The 30ish roll is the sweet spot for my 1st gear. 4.10's actually slow it down from a roll I would think?

The DA is typically 3000-4000+, I figure most people live on east/west coast at or near sea level so that time is most comparable to other times across the country.

I liked the mach 1 but they're all at least $4-6k more then ls1 f body. The top end is badass.

I also say this race is won within the 60', especially being an 1/8 mile race. What's the verdict OP?

I think your car will be interesting when the mods begin. A 3.42 gear with a stall alone would be pretty badass on your car. Any mods coming soon?

What ever do you mean? You should be banned for saying that. Mustangs can't win. Ever.
