My 99ss 6spd has a small cam and all bolt ons and runs 7.5 in the 1/8. My cousins friend has a 04 mustang gt (which he says is really badass) that has a non-intercooled vortech supercharger at 10psi blower cams and 4000 stall and typical bolt ons. Both have nitto tires on factory wheels. And both have full suspension.

What do you think he would run? I have $100 on this and want to get a good idea of what to expect. We are set to run Saturday in the local 1/8 mile.

Well I recently traded a 04 Mustang gt with full bolt ons, cams, and a 100 shot, and can personally tell you they are no slouches with some type of forced induction lol. This could very well be a tight race, since he is running 10 psi AND blower cams. Is he running methanol or anything?

Exactly. A ~400rwhp car with a 4,000rpm stall to get the blower turning (if it has traction) isn't exactly a slouch.

1/8th mile race with these two cars will be won or lost in the first 60ft. I hope you can wheel that 6 speed out of the hole because I believe that the stalled auto on a tire will hook up and be gone. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Well if he lets the car cool down he might run right with you and edge you out with the 4k stall he has. If he doesnt let the car cool down then a 7.7 Im guessing he will run.
