BTW, gas mileage sucks worse with this new setup too lol. So far about 12 city, and 18-20 highway lol
Next time I'll plan on doing that then! figure out your n2o issue and we'll get it done

A 45 roll is the sweet spot for the Cobra it's tough to beat from that speed

Yeah, I think we were around 55-60 mph on this race. Does that seem right to you Greddy? I know when I looked down at my tach I was just shy of 4k

a 40-45 is a good spot in second gear, altho I still prefer 20 as it's a good spot for first, I dont get much wheel spin when not spraying, and I can run the car longer. I'm really not a huge fan of the 55+ starts as the races seem too quick but there wasn't much we could do about it on a somewhat busy highway.

and yeah I believe we were right around 60.

Time to spray!... what h/c/i did you go with? Any hp numbers on both cars?

Great race, termis are no slouch!

My car made 458/472 and 530/572. way lower numbers than most ported blower cars. Dont care tho since it runs well.

Yeah mine made 420/380 and 490/510 on a very stingy Mustang dyno. I'm pretty sure you can add at least 20-30 hp to those numbers on a Dynojet from what i've heard about this particular dyno. Like Greddy said...I don't really care about the numbers either

Those are great numbers guys!... and even tho numbers aren't everything, they are still good for comparison. Did u do ls3 top end? Lots of ppl do break 500 on a dynojet with similar set ups. Stang dyno usually reads around 10% lower.

Both cars move out, nice to see NA hanging with a termi.

Thanks man! No I have PRC 5.3 heads with a pretty big cam, and a LS6 intake. Compression is 11.5 with this build. Just for fun one day I asked Martin at Tick Performance what this combo would make on his dyno, and he thought right around 450-470 rwhp. Honestly I don't think it's really any more than 450 though.

a set of ported l92's and a ported ls3 intake might be something to consider down the road tho man. My buddy did it to a gto with a 404 stroker and it runs very well.

Oh i'm sure that combo would do extremely well, but hey...that's what the nitrous is for right lol? I'm actually thinking about maybe trying to sell my LS6 intake (just to see what happens) and then getting a FAST. It might not be too expensive to do, and I think the FAST would work well with the larger cam

Great runs guys! The cobras seem to be very similar to the gto's in the aspect that some seam to run great, and others with the exact same mods seam to be turds. I ran a pullied Bolton 03 and absolutely destroyed it when I was a h/c ls1. But I've Sean gto's get beat around here by cars they shouldn't have. Obviously driver has a massive amount to do with it. I have a race lined up with a KB 2.8 gt500 and a 2.8 kb 03 cobra here in a few weeks. Should be interesting!

Yeah this Cobra is definitely no turd guys lol I'm sure the 150 lbs of weight reduction and 3.73 gears play a part as well

Weight reduction is the key with them, but it seems not many people do that to them (me included).
