Two different topics there. When you said "4v" in that context, you were most definitely talking about the '96-'98 Cobra. The 2nd and 3rd comment were directed toward all N/A pre-'11 Mustangs.
Edit: And wtf would you call YOUR car if you just strapped on a blower and a few other bolt-ons? Probably exactly what everybody else (but him) would say; "Stock engine with a blower and exhaust."

You prove me right over and over.

LT4s run neck and neck with LS cars, so of course they owned both 2vs and 4vs. Was just a short run with them though since it was built to just hold off until the LS motors were ready.
Just call it like it is. Most GM guys have no problem saying their new **** is kick ***, so why do some Ford guys have such a hard time admitting their old **** was garbage? It doesn't mean anything today and doesn't take anything away from the new 5.0s

281 + 112 = 393. Your engine and supporting pump is larger. You've proved you need more blower or you would be on the stock blower still.
Really ****** fast.......I definitely would not be in the same realm as Lawhead then. Thanks for making that point.

That's what boost does. No secret there. The fact that ls pick up truck engine's has been 8.0's is pretty amazing.
What makes a engine great is not needing that to be fast.....something the old modulars lacked.

There is no calculator that figures out CI that takes what you put on top of the block into consideration. Just another stab at Ford. And the fif gen now gets the title
"Ain't **** without the blower"

Boost isn't CI though saying the blower adds CI to the motor is just absurd. Next its gonna be because the heads are so big that add CI too....

To not understand that the blower Makes the engine move more air just as a larger engine would is absurd.

5th gens run good. My buddy went 12.9 @ 111 with his bone stock. The record is like a 12.5 for one bone stock. Cam only has been in the 10's......faster than you at that point.

I'm faster than you so not sure that the "faster than you " comment means much and I've been to the track once with the car to I'm sure your 100s of passes
So answer my question is a 5.3 no longer a 5.3 if it has a turbo because it's a pump and makes the engine act like a bigger motor ?

Funny you should say that, made me remember something hilarious I saw that I had to look up...they were using it to actually defend their motors against boosted 4cyls - only on a 'stang forum LOL

So you also agree a blower/Turbo is not adding displacement to the engine ?

The same argument could be used to say a cam or nitrous increases displacement...both increase the amount of air in the cylinders. Now THAT sounds silly .
