All kidding aside, mid-12's is nothing to sneeze at. As a matter of fact, that's what I was running before I did heads/cam/intake/exhaust. Mid 12's @111-112 were the norm. In most cases, that'll take pretty much anyone on the street, especially in our area, as there aren't that many fast street cars as there are in the bigger cities.
Good luck with your tuning and future track outing.

Most Lid+cutout LS1 M6 cars are running really low 13s on street tires. There are always exceptions to the norm, though. With that cam and headwork you have, our exhaust + cam gears + tuning cars would need binoculars to see your taillights. I saw an A4 black WS6 Firechicken with similar mods to yours and DRs run an 11.70 at Beech Bend. Pretty freaking nuts.

Why did we have to pardon this guy so quickly?! This could have been entertaining for a couple of days at the very least.
This guy got off real easy.

You get the "bad choice for debate" prize of the day!
That car was even less modified than mine at that point (which isn't saying much). It was still really in its infancy. Now, that exact same car is kicking the crap out of cars should theoretically be much faster and placing in the Top 5 everyday in One Lap of America. Sadly, they had a horrible day on April 30th on the wet skid pad at Tire Rack, which hurt their overall standing. Still, there are several highly modified Corvettes behind the Vishnu Evo, which is being driven by Paul Gerrard.
I'm not implying that the Evolution is a better car than a Z06 by any stretch of the imagination. But you compared a basically stock $29,000 Evo with a piggy-back, rear sway bar, exhaust, and wheels to a stock $53,000 Z06. Of course it got slaughtered!

Hehe.....FS post huh, I kinda thought you were from over at TNSpeed.
The Black WS6 you speak of is my buddy Brandon's car. We(TEA) did his heads, but they are our old Stg. 1 5.7's, and he's running a really small cam, 218/224 .525/.532 on a 114 LSA. We mess around all the time on the parkway up in BG, and I usually put several lengths on him from 50-1xx rolls.
But, for the amount he has in the car modwise, it's VERY impressive.

Another "bad choice for debate" is the mine is cheaper than yours thing too.

Hey man, do you live in clarksville or Bowling green? I'm in paducah right now for my rehab and when I get out of this ****-hole and get another f-bod I'm seriously thinking bout having TEA do the head-work for me. I'd like to meet you guys and have them maybe help me out with my next car. Shoot me a pm if you don't mind, maybe we'll meet up here in a month or two.

Hey, my 5.3L TEA Stage 1.5's came in yesterday. Can't wait to bolt 'em on!

South, with your cam, and those heads, after some good dyno-tuning, don't be surprised at all to see 440 or so at the rear wheels.

We just did 2 WS6's, and both cars have our Stg 1.5's, one car ran the TR230 on a 112, and the other an MTI X1 on a 112, and they both made mid-430's on our conservative dyno.

That's what I'm hoping for. Debating on a 78mm LSX Intake. Worth it in your opinion?

I can safely say that if all goes well with the install and tune, it's no longer a maybe.
I should be there already though. Pretty pathetic on my part.

: ****** go?
