So with a bolt-on Ls1 I should think twice about a g37? Maybe a built one.

This is a maxima with the same engine. Drs, I/H/E, tune.

ok then, show me an audi or VW with a flat 3.8 twin turbo engine....

ps-your post is pointless.

Can't speak specifically to G37 coupes, but 370Zs are pretty damned quick, even stock. I'm just saying I'd at least have pause for concern with one of those, whereas with a 350 I'm not really worried at all, save for maybe boosted...

How can you compare a G37(or 35) with a CTS-V? It is just dissapointing
Why the hell would you compare a G35/7 with a CTS-V?

What do you think a bolt-on FWD family sedan (take a second and think about the cars that it actually competes with) should run with basic bolt-ons and decent rubber?

Not all G35 guys are the same. I take pride in my G35 and its not slow at any means. When my car was stock it was slow as **** but now its not to bad. CAnt ever get anyone to race me but still fun to drive around. So dont classify me with those dumb asses. I drive a real import !!!!! Better hope my Vtec doesnt kick in.

I have the world record for stock g35. 13.4 @ 103 mph da corrected.

It's the vq35hr sedan 5 speed auto.

The G37 sedan's have 30 more hp and 7 speed and have gone as fast as 13.0 @ 106 mph with good 1.9 60 foot... Hell motortrend got 13.5 @ 106 mph.

Here's me vs a 2010 Camaro SS L99 stock.

So you pick a motor that isnt going to be in an Audi or VW after you bolded a line from my statement in which i said SOME tend to be in an Audi or VW? Can you even read? Can you even comprehend English? but let me be more clear i guess and make it army proof for you ok. VW (just like many car companies) likes to save money they do this buy using some engines through out all their sub car companies I.E. Audi, Porsche and Lamborghini, etc.... Yes certain engines may not be used in other sub car companies because its what makes that specific car company iconic or better than the rest of the other car companies.

Two trim levels of the same car? OK then G37 IPL... Or the freshly renamed Q50 Sedan and the new Q60 coupe.

If we are allowing DA corrected times to stand as actual results I ran 12.8 @ 108 (corrected) bone stock.

Car and driver got a 13.7 @ 104 out of their 6MT long term G35. Not sure if they correct for DA.

Magazines almost always correct for conditions and use gps timing equipment. Only a few exceptions (GMHTP/MM&FF) use actual drag strips.

How about you compare it to the CTS trim levels that it actually competes with? I'll give you a hint, the V doesn't fall in that category.

Exactly. They are quicker than people want to give them credit for. Instead of comparing it to a CTS-V (which is stupid), compare it to the pitiful 270hp base CTS that averages ~$2k more with similar equipment (and 58hp less).
