The first day that I got my trans am, someone wanted to try me. My daily driver is a 1990 300zx n/a and usually I get bet buy the lancers. That day was different though. He pulled up to me smiling in his little yellow lancer. I laughed. The light was red, I was on my cell phone talking to someone telling them about the dude in the lancer looking me up and down like he wanted to race. I put the person on hold and when the light turned green he saw the honey comb lights!

Good kill. Just a bit of friendly advice. Try to give more racing details. We want details not just "he saw honey comb lights". Welcome to the board.

i'd hope he ment an evo, getting beat by a regular lancer in a 300zx n/a is a far shot. anyway, nice kill

Yeah, thats what I was thinking, but you never no... and usually they are called evo's, not lancers, even thought they are kinda both... I was just making sure, and that would be a very respectable kill...

Uhh, maybe off a cliff? My buddies an extremely talented driver, and his BEST is a 13.3 at 106. He's got a full 3" exhaust from the turbo back (Vischnu I believe). Stage 1 setup, I think from Vischnu also. It's supposed to be around 300rwhp, maybe a tad less. He's usually running around 13.5s. Last time I was at the track, he was the only EVO in the 13s. There were 3 or 4 other ones pulling mid to low 14s.
There is no way, they could pull high 12s. It is NOT possible.

Thanks for the compliment man. I found it by luck really. I was a day away from going back to a dealership where I saw a 2002 white trans am. I was surprised because not too many dealerships have trans am's anymore. I felt like I had to jump on the deal because it only had 14K miles on it. I told them that I would come back with the down payment later on in the week. So that next day at work. I flip through the paper just to look at what kinds of deals they had. That's when I saw it. The 2002 Sunset Orange Metallic Trans Am. It only had 11K miles on it. I called Sewell Pontiac up and told the dude that I had to have it. Get this. The dude had this car trailerd up to my job so that I could test drive it!!!!! The color on it was just sweet. I got away with it for 19K.

well....If it fell off a cliff at 32 feet per second per second(gravity) I think a EVO would do a 1/4 mile in just under 9 seconds at around 190 mph....thats pretty quick.
