I never ran my car bone stock. But my buddy did. He went 11.97 at 115.2. But he also had a lot of passes where his 60fts were **** and ranged from 12.1-12.4 at 113-114. He only trapped 115 once and that was when he launched the car the hardest. DA was around 1000.

EDIT: There have been as high as 118mph traps but those are glory passes at glory tracks.

I don't agree there's a 500 wheel horse ta n/a ad a blower u got 650/700 hp car w 6 maybe 7 g all said and done incl drivetrain now take the gt 500 right were that is and what could u do to that internally to make much better?

Buddy trapped 114-116 bone stock on several different passes. That was at a not so great track.

Before u start listing thing to do to a gt500 ino u can make faster but it's all about who has bigger pockets and I don't know how a 5.0 built to **** and a 5.7 the same wouldn't put down the same or more power there's more motor in a ls1

My neighbor has the (super snake)?gt 500and father in law just sold his for a some475 hp package 5.0 cause they r stupid on the road way over powered his opinion the 475 hp is faster cause it can hook the gt500 spins in every gear and if u don't have perfect conditions u can't even drive

Ya I talk better than I write I have a friend w a n/a trams am w heads and big cam ect if u put a blower on it he would have around 7 hp with 7 grand compared to a fully built 50 or gt 500 I think for the money a ta would take it but both cars would prob still b pretty equal

I have seen Bosses trap 114 at Cecil many times.


Coyote has upper hand stock to stock and with same mods at full weight compared to ls fbody no matter what year. Kids with no money will argue other wise.

I think motor is fully built he does all work himself so that saves money it comes down to money and skills w any car I just love racing win or loose
