its not a ratchet shifter its a hurst quarter stick and if you accidentally hold in on the lever it will let you pull all the way from first to third. If you dont pull in the lever it stops you in second then you have to pull the lever to go into third.

Don't listen to the ford clan pick you apart, oh no a fox got beat. And someone may have had some bad info, Your car rolls out. Prob faster than any of there cars on the street. But anyway they can discredit you they will be more than happy to do. And throw in a your car is alright in here and there not to sound bias

I had it to the track a few times this year but couldn't get it to work worth a damn with radials and a stick so I stuck with street racing. Best I got was 11.0@140 spinning almost half track. Lol. When it comes to stock ford blocks I believe it 302-347 and 351-427. I've got a dart block and can go to 468 but if I scratch a wall I'm fucked.

Put a set if slicks on it (stiff wall they say is the best) and it will hook at the track.
Drag radials are only good for getting higher mph at the track on a stick shift car. They can't absorb the shock of the gear changes like a bias ply slick.
