The 6.0 is fine if you remove every piece of emissions equipment lol.

The 6.0 was fine in the medium duty trucks. But when it was put in a Ferd chassis it went to **** js.

Stay on track we are talking about diesels not a gas motor. But man look at all those lemons and lawsuits Ford had to deal with millions of dollars.

I had a 6.4 that was pretty fantastical. Beat the dogshit out of it for 50,000 or so miles with a Spartan 275 tune, exhaust and cold air. No issues . Went 13.2@101 too!

Guess the Duramax injector issues are non existent like the Busted lifters in the DoD powered cars and the LS7's dropping valves

You can keep the duracrap they are ****. Ill stick with cummins i like heavy duty diesels compared to light duty like the duramax and powerstroke. But to be far i have had the 7.3, 6.4 have a 05 6.0 right now. My 6.4 got 10 mpg but with simple tuning and losing the dpf i was able to spank alot of camaros and mustangs at stop lights.

I loved mine. Great truck. Even on 35's, I managed to average 13mpg mixed driving. You also have to admit that it's pretty impressive that Ford and Chevy build their own motors (now). All Rams had going for them until 2010 was a motor they had nothing to do with lol. They are quite sessy now, especially with an interior that's worth a damn finally.

You have a talent with vehicles no doubt, but please work on your grammar. I'm not trying to be an *******, I am just trying to help you avoid the barrage of dickbags waiting to jump on you and point out every flaw. Good luck sir.

A guy I work with just built the same truck. He had an 04 already, but found a wrecked mega cab with front end damage. He extended his existing dually frame and put the mega cab on it. It's pretty badass. I call it the zombie truck cause it's a couple different colors and all chopped up like Frankenstein.

It seems like the 50k+ is where the F150 ecoturds start to have issues. I would ditch it before you were out of power train warranty for sure.

And as was stated previously, the brake rotors are suspect too. I haven't jumped into one of our used fleet F150s without some sort of warping being present.

I haven't seen anyone with more than 40k or so on their Focus yet, so that just might not be a piece of information I have access to.
