LMAO! You're kidding right?
I've learned my "fair share" from the real LSX guru's about a 10-15 years ago, thank you. You were probably racing hot wheels around that time I bet. Lol
You could learn a lot from Hio tho, although I think you're too big...I mean hard headed too listen.

Can anyone have a decent conversation around here without panties getting bunched up?! Some of you wouldn't last a full day on YB.
What's an 80E, 80-90lbs more than a 60E?! The extra weight is definitely worth the durability. It'll be the last transmission swap he'll do for a very long time.

I could give a whatever about yellow bullet what does that have to do with anything? Yes its heavier, takes more weight to spin it and its not a simple bolt in for an Fbody. There are cars in the 9s with a 60E. With the right builder they can last a long time. That is why I stated that and its my opinion. If you don't agree that is okay and fine. If you wish to act like the stereotype yellow bullet poster that is okay too no worries or matter from me

Wow you seem to be an angry guy. I am not a guru by any means but I was racing, modding and driving LS1s in 98. Don't worry you will be on ignore list now. Maybe you should take a deep breath and relax. I learned that a long time ago as a bouncer...

Mustang has zero weight reduction. If you count the stroller in the trunk and the baby seat in the back seat, it actually has weight added to it.
I'm on Yellow bullet, so that must make me an elitest on here

To answer questions regarding my 4l80/9" comments, the goal will be to have a car with an s480 or 88mm turbo on it. I'm talking with a buddy who has built a few turbo cars around here and I told him I want to build it once and not have to worry about **** breaking. That is where a forged motor, built 4l80, & a nicely optioned 9" come into play. I don't care solely about ET/mph. I just want something fun that will last awhile, scare me a bit, & bring lots of smiles to my face

No, it did not, albeit I was making 7xxwhp, and at those power levels what's 70-80 pounds going to do? I ran the crap out of that car on the track and street. My Performabuilt 60E didn't do so well tho, which is why the guys at RPM recommend one of their built 80E's and never had tranny issues again from that point.
Ironic how this subject came up and I was just reading this earlier.

You weren't even the target of mikes comment ,
Mike said to someone who said "first mods would be 9 and an 80" and he said I'd slow him down
You jumped into it as if he was talking to you , must have been ignored as a child

If you can't grasp that there is no hope.

First mods as in laying down the foundation for a fast car, as in do it right the first time. Lol Some like to do things the right way as opposed to newbie's like you who do it backwards, then complain down the road when you have to upgrade parts.
If you can't grasp that there is no hope.

Just don't understand what it had to do with you....
