Because racecar!!!
If the street racing and meets werent so dead down here i wouldve had a nice H/C setup on my car months ago cause i wouldve never bought the quad and built it. Atm the cops have make it almost impossible to street race.
Your car sounds badass though. Honestly the whole back pressure stuff is BS from what ive personally seen.
Sucks cops got it looked down, and whatever works to have fun. I too like the sound, different than what I'm use to. On the y/td thing. I have a friend with a mostly stock ws6 A4. Went from y to td, and the car is now dog slow from a take off. I'm sure things will vary with different set ups. But I rather play it safe. Or tell myself that.
Don't want to get too much into it, but he did race another mutual friend with a 6.0 gto. Use to be somewhat even, this time the gto beat him, until he got a stall.
He has something going on.. Msg me if you want to discuss it.
Tr6 should cover you on motor.
If you spray though make sure get the tune on an br7 or 8 and just run them all the time.

where do you guys run in austin? all i see when i visit is lots of hills, mountains, and twisty roads. Your car is more suited for Houston!! Well i guess you could get down on that toll road....85mph speed limit!! lol.
My car is just another F-body with a lil kick to it. Houston, or my area it's all the same... will win and lose. We do not race on tolls or any public roads. We are blessed to have a friend that owns so much land, that he made a highway type road with lighting, divider wall etc. Even traffic and street signs that simulates the real thing. I should make it out to Houston soon, hopefully I can do racetrack events then.

I helped Hugger1975 switch out some plugs in his car. I had some br7's that I wasn't going to use since i'm running b8's now. What sort of gap is good for a H/C/I 100shot? I think we gapped his plugs somewhere around .030-.032 IIRC. The previous plugs (can't remember which brand) were gapped something lake .050 or larger. It was a huge gap. Car fired right up and idled/drove better than it had this past year. He hasn't ran it hard though. Too cold out.
