He won't, I'm not one-sided. I like and can appreciate all makes and models automotive, and don't lean towards any certain one.
To answer your question from before Hio, that's why I don't need to buy and build a DOHC 5.4L just because I appreciate it for what it is. If I did that, I'd have to buy dozens upon dozens of all different kinds of engines just because I like them. Budget doesn't allow, I'm like the majority of us and have to pick and choose.

So then.......if a 3v is ****........a 2v is worse.........then I have to assume a 4v is marginally better than a 3v. What does that make the 4v?
r6......you said enough when you bought your ls stuff. It's what I like to call putting your money where your mouth is.

I don't think there's an engine family out there that's better than the LSx as far as bang-for-the-buck goes. The LS was a plus when I bought the Corvette, but it definitely wasn't the only reason I did. Main reason's were style, sporty 2-seater, targa top and very affordable. If it was only about wanting an LSx engine vehicle, I would've bought an F-body. In other words, if the Corvette would've came with a DOHC 4.6 or 5.4 motor, I still would've bought it, but instead of heads and cam I would've gone supercharger. There's many other cars out there that I'd much rather have that do not have an LS engine, but of course money ultimately plays the biggest role.

Not sure where/when you ever said that to me. All I've said about the 5.4 mod is they don't need boost to necessarily make bigger power to compete with LS stuff. Just because it costs a lot more money to make it happen doesn't mean those motors are not capable. That's all I've been telling you. You've been disagreeing and arguing to me about it. I've always known give both motors the same amount of money to mod n/a and the LS is gonna blow the 5.4 mod out of the water.

The last sentence is very true.......I don't care what ultimate builds can do.......I can't afford it. Thus the reason I say it can't. Most of us have to scratch money together to have any type of hotrod.
Now here's the thing. If a 5.4 can't keep up n/a that gap will grow under boost. After all the reason it can't keep up is because it don't move as much air.

I agree with ya there. But remember that link I posted in the other thread of team MMR's 6.04 @ 246 1/4 mile with the aftermarket sleeved 5.4 block and stock 5.4 ported heads? Now that some bitch moves some air. Point is, they all can do some outrageous things with the right touches.

I tend to give the credit on that kind of **** to the guys that are working on it. But I have a 17 yr back ground in professional racing. So I know what they go threw.
