I can't stand the looks of the first ones. The last one I ever drove was an 09 with a tune that went low 13s. I remember Evan Smith telling stang guys that hated 3 valves to be patient. He wasn't kidding...

That's a pretty stout run IMO. The 5.0's are infinitely better, no doubt. But, my argument has always been that just because the 5.0 overshadows everything prior, it doesn't mean that ye old 3v was a turd. The 5.0 is just ridiculous by comparison.

Ok Doug. But yes, as Mike said they were a little ahead-of/even-with an LT1 F-body stock or with light mods. Which is what I said like 4 pages ago.

Yep and I said they were even up. Once mods start it's all lt though. Kinda sad ford had a completely new engine in 2005 that kept up with a engine from 1992. Realistically we should not even be having this conversation.

You started arguing with me for no reason when I said that exact same thing a WHILE ago. Somebody said "LT1>3V," I think it was big hammer, and I responded with this;

And then here you come;

But there are TONS of I/H/E/stall automatic 3Vs running pretty well into the 12s. I'm not talking about cars with "creative weight reduction," talking about simple straightforward basic bolt-on cars.
Then you pull this out of your *** for no reason, when you know good and well that this car was running TERRIBLY. And then start talking about cars on the forum "bolt-on" lists, like that has anything to do with basic mods;

You do your best to try to discredit anything I say........That statement pretty much sums it up.

Looks like lt's have been pretty deep in the 11's with bolt-ons there for making it faster than a 3v. Maybe you should've checked the link. You act like no one ever takes weight out of mustangs..........stipulate much?
So yeah...you didn't say anything that I didn't already say, and you were trying to argue with me for saying that same thing you were repeating.

So how about this, Doug; if you concede that the 3V is a little ahead of the LT1, and you say that 3Vs run high 13s/low 14s...what do LT1s run?

It's what I said they were even up dude, both are high 13 low 14.....give it up already. But once mods start it's lt.......that's why LT> 3v. Get the **** over it already. Go trade off your tuarass on a 3v if you want

Went to a grudge event at the track to test out my new (to me) wheels/tires. It hooked much better than my stock wheels with the m/t's. It left then bogged down. Gotta go again when they do regular test and tune to get a time slip & try different rpm launches.

Looked good coming off the line. You must have had a decent 60'. Good job.

Gocha. Car runs good! However according to HIO and some others he should easily be running mid 11s at 120+

Correct. Only things I can think of that I lack in completing all the bolt ons is getting a throttle body and intake manifold.

I've been really debating on trying out a set of 4.10's I have already installed in another 10 bolt rear, just to see how much it helps/hurts the car going from 3.42's to 4.10's.

You'll LOVE the 4.10s... Hands down. ONLY draw back is it soaks up the MPGs... but you don't SEEM like the kinda guy who would care.

Let's test it:

#1 DO you own a pair of Berkinstocks

#2 Can you cite three distinct hues of Brown?

#3 Can you cite the name brand of a pair of leather shoes?

4.10s do reduce ur mpgs. i got 4.11s and get about 16 mpg combined city/highway. drive it hard and u can watch the needle go down lol. but the acceleration is awesome
