It's no secret ford hp is smaller than gm's. It's like they have pony hp and gm hp is more like a Clydesdale.

That 5.0.had problems. They can run deep in the 11s with bolt ons at full weight

Good run. Based on the rwhp of both cars, the outcome seems right. The 5.0 needs about 40 more rwhp or so to make it a race. Power to weight is a bitch.

Friend of mine had a blown Roush 5xr. It was a neat car but wasn't very fast for as much power as it was supposedly making. Nice vid.

The ZR1 weighs 3340 and the Roush about 3800. Plus the ZR1 has a nice aerodynamic advantage. You can see the ZR1 jump slightly when the driver nails third.
