Even with the standing mile times how do we know that car would be able to hook or really take any of the cars in their forte? (on the highway unprepped) No one to this date has really shown that they can take an underground car from a roll. Many have tried and failed. Even Tejano blue which made 2200whp.

I've seen a couple videos in the past of the tx street racing and whatnot but never really thought it was that common... always though it really only happened in the movies...
after reading through this whole thread, my original plan of a 4-500hp dd is out the goddamn window! You bastards! lol

If you're thinking of running with those big dogs, start around 800 and figure double to really be competitive. Oh, and nitrous generally just won't do it... N/A has NO SHOT AT ALL, but you're gonna want turbo/s to really get that job done. Turbochargers are all about top end.

Oh, and not every car has 800+. There's an even greater number of 500-750 cars out here. There are just a bunch of high powered cars down here period.

From the vids I have seen a well setup ~140mph car that hooks can do damage against most of the avg cars at txk2k.
