I'd imagine it would be pretty easy to get vids of lots of cars. What I don't understand is why so many people are cool with they're plate and or faces being shown.
Let me paint a picture for you.
Go rob a bank.
or
Go rob a bank with a gopro strapped to your chest. Post the video later from your youtube acct.

I can list the ways they can still charge you here, but i won't give out that advice because i feel it would then show you how to better protect yourself...
Here's a crazy thought.. stop the car and deal with it instead of putting your life, (our lives) the lives of everyone else, including the cops (with whom you'll be charged with aggravated manslaughter if he/she gets killed pursuing you) at risk..
We all speed now and then, when you get lit up take the ticket and be a man.
Here in NJ, if you attempt to elude police (meaning they caught you at that time OR LATER via numerous methods, this isn't 1965) it is a 3rd degree crime UNLESS you did something reckless during the eluding itself, then you are looking at a 2nd degree crime.. meaning, you're going to jail if you have no record, probably a 364 in county and if you HAVE a record, you're going to State Prison..
Worse, if you DIDN'T have a record before, you will get a FELONY conviction on your newly formed "record" and be unable to VOTE and will not be able to get a decent job with any govt agency, local, county, state, federal, etc
And you can't buy any firearms either...
is that worth running and HOPING you can stay hidden? i know so many people that have been locked up later like 6 months later even, after an investigation into their escapades trying to (and successfully at the time) getting away from a cop.. look at that reasoning above? any number of those things i outlined, not one would I want to deal with. would you?
just pull over and plead for forgiveness. what's the worst you get? 6mos loss of license and some fines?

I was gonna say your statement wouldn't be true based on my personal experience of having off duty police officers pull me over,..then have another officer come write a ticket. Now, that hasn't happened to me in many years...I am older and wiser when it comes to how I deal with/talk to officers/troopers(know the difference) but,...I would be smarter when it comes to all these videos I see on here.
you have no idea about what you're talking about.....

TX2k may bring in 'others' from around the country, but these races are a common thing out here in Houston area on the tollways and freeways, and I'm sure same goes for Dallas area too! I've had them blow my doors off passing me and sometimes with a car following filming it all.
