The actual race was supposed to be eighth, it was too close to call at eighth as cars were side by side, both drivers are competitive so they kept racing, lol. it wasn't for money so it didn't matter who won, lol!

FYI, I don't mind Subaru's at all, but your arguement for shifts and speed at the 1/8th for the WRX(ZR1 blew by him halfway through 3rd ~ 100mph, with a minimum 35mph advantage), just doesn't make any sense...and we tend to like logical arguements on this site, unless you're just trolling...then you caught me.
And I didn't pick the slowest vid I could find either, there were plenty on Youtube of 300awhp Subie's running high 13's.

Can we at least agree that he was not going 120mph in 8 seconds?
I think it is obvious the car is either geared, or the driver was shifting early or??
Like I said, that ZR1 was half way through 3rd which is right around 100mph, and he clearly had at least 30mph on the Subie, meaning he was at 70-75mph when the ZR1 freight-trained him.
Even in the video I posted, the Subaru didn't get into 5th in the 1/4, let alone an 1/8th!

To clear a few things up, the Subaru let out at 90 as that is what it traps in the 1/8th at the track. Since the car is still stock turbo, it gets shifted @ about 6k because it stops making power. It was pretty obvious that the ZR1 was going to blow the doors off on the big end. And 295 Toyo R888s on all 4 corners with launch control set to 6300 are the other half of the story... Thanks for watching guys. Hope they keep em coming!!!
