it was a typo. You were comparing the weights and outputs of the ls3 and coyote, so i stated what ls3 were capable of.
Cam only with ebay headers as the only bolt on they have done over 500 whp.

This is simply stupidity... The Cobra was, AT MOST, about $10,000 more than the MSRP of the Premium Mustang GT. In convertible form, it was closer still. Those Cobras also had more equipment than the Camaro SS was even available with, having only, as I recall, 2 options. Oh, and they beat its ***.

No, actually GM's bills were paid for them... Ford took a loan specifically about efficiency. It was also done at a different time and in a normal manner as opposed to the loans GM and Chrysler got, which were not normal by any means.

Pretty much. Myself included. The only thing left on my car that is oe SS is the rear wing and some SS badges. I'd be $$ ahead just buying a Z28. Although I do have everything to put it back to oe condition.

Now on to the ls9 vs 5.8. If you want to see the true differences then run them at the same boost........but you won't want to see that.
At some point the the ls9 will require a larger supercharger.....because it flows more air. Which is why it can make only 26hp less but on ~4lb less boost.

I have searched before and have never seen such a powerful cam only LS1 car. 450-470whp from stock shortblock and stock 67cc chamber cylinder head that flows approximately 230cfm at .600 lift which has 2.00"/1.55" valves would be extremely difficult. Would be cool to see if it's been done though.

Oh i agree no doubt but idk if hammer is being serious about the claim with 450whp with stock heads i can see that with ported stock heads and a after market cam but it would be 450BHP and not 450RWHP
