It was a good run. My point is the fact that he is full of **** about his setup. You and I both know that 425whp from a roll is not going to hang like he did with a 776whp Cobra. Friends of mine in FL have higher HP Cobra's. I know exactly what it takes, in an fbody, to hang from a roll with a car with that kind of power...and it's much higher than 425.

I've seen people lie about their setups forever...but that's mostly due to the fact that they are money racing. This guy isn't. He just has no life and is attention starved on LS1tech. Pretty sad if you ask me.

 

The lying involved with grudge racing is ghey regardless.

We have local guys who will always be at the strip, let off half way down the 1/4 track, and then when people talk **** back to them when they get mouthy will bet them money for a street race.

I equate it to buying a sick 70" tv and covering up half of it. Regardless of the point, it is GHEY.

 

I just watched a street race and told him good run.....that's it. I really don't care about any more than that.

So you were racing on street tires, now you're on either a slick or a radial and are having traction problems?

 

Well regardless, still a good run. It's tough taking out a close to 800 hp cobra.

 

Et street, at 25 psi... anything lower than that and the tires are just way too sketchy (biasply). I'm still mostly stock on the rear suspension side, to include torque arm. I'ved had better luck hooking with my stock rims and 555r's in the past, may need to try them again.
These tires even cold will hook at the track, I just couldn't accelerate fast enough... on the street, they just look cool.

 

Hhhhhhhmmmmmmm.......bias ply = sketchy on the street even in the dry. Did not know that....

 

Lolz, makes the car feel like it's on ice... add that with no front sway bar, and skinnies!

 

I still lol watching the first clip where Fenix is sawing the wheel back and forth and nothing is being corrected because skinnies.

 

What's funny is, this 125 trap car is taking out 776hp cobros... if I told you what CI this engine really was, you'd **** yourself and the fun would be over.
