bolt on Z28 vs slammed 350
nothing special i really just had a question about what happened. i started in 2nd and immediately put it in d, then ill shift to overdrive if i know ill need 4th gear. Well this race i did the same thing but when i put it in D it didn't shift out of 2nd. it just bounced off the rev limiter repeatedly as you can see. then quickly shifted into 3rd, then back down to rev limiter in 2nd. I haven't gone wot since it happen although i think that ill change tonight. anyone know why that happened? also the 350 owner said my exhaust shoots flames at the rev limiter and on decel in high rpms.. It looks cool but i know it doesn't benefit me, is there anyway to get rid of it? or any reason to get rid of it i should say
race is around 30 seconds in

That sucks dude, don't know why it would shift and then downshift again, maybe the converter plays tricks on the computer Either way, I hope it didn't hurt it, and it looked like it was running strong to that point!

Why would I leave it in drive?? By the time I floor it and wait for my car to downshift, the car next to me already has the jump.. Because he's already in gear. I've been doing it this way since day 1 and I've never had an issue, last night I ran a few people and had no issues so in guessing it was something going on between converter and ecu. Thanks for the response

I always left it in od. Seemed to work good for me. It bounced off rev limiter when I left it in d once before so I never did it after that. It's an auto.. let it do the work
