With that said, I notice that when a 5.0 is tuned it turns into a different car all together. They do seem to respond well with one.

Good run!
if I got another 5.0 or get a c7 it will be white.

I just bought my first mustang last month. Got it in white too. Couldn't be happier!

I thought the new Stingrays with the LT1 were supposed to be impressive

considering that 5.0 put down 404 and LT1s typically put down around 400ish stock (i can't quite remember what a stock one put down at my buddy's shop) i'd say that video is a good representation of what the cars should be.

Agreed.

Now that I've owned vehicles from both camps it's funny to laugh at people from both sides that are so narrow minded.

Well it took mods for the mustang to get beat still.

EEHHH not really. Stick (mustang) vs auto(vette)......stick is gonna have the edge in a roll race erry time. A good representation to me would be a stick vs stick. Just as the other vid was auto vs auto. How well of a representation would that have been with a stick vette even with the stang having mods?

5.0's run good. But as this evolution unfolds i think you gonna see a whole new can of whop *** coming from the new LT stuff. What amazes me is that both sides keep pushing each other to do better......now if I could only afford either I would be happy.

Maybe with the new LT stuff, the Camaro won't be ignored because of how embarrassing it is. There's always hope!

I completely agree with that. I still love the motors GM comes out with. They make horsepower if you sneeze at them. Only reason I went to a ford was due to the fact that 5th gen camaro's are such turds from the factory for $10k more.

That being said I would love to see the next gen camaro's go on a Diet and feature the new LT motor.

The excuses in here are epic. The C7 pulled about a 1/4 of a car before the run ended. Now it's, "About to pull a train!"

The Mustang is heavier, cheaper, and slower than a stock C7. They don't compete at all. Don't make it out like an intake and a tune are a big deal. It's $600 in mods. Shoulda done an x-pipe tune.

400whp in a 3500/3600lb car is still less advantageous than 400whp in a 3300lb car. Now the C7 is wayyy slow b/c it's an auto, and 6-speeds are always quicker. Bullshit.

People need to get over these 5.0's. I'm shocked why it's still a big deal for one to beat a GM product 4 years after the motor came out. It's not the end of the world. The C7 is a much better all-around car.

You do realize your build will be lucky to run with a bolt-on fif gen don't you??? I guess not.

Just calling it the way I see it.......now you're making the excuse the mustang needed a x-pipe.

Please tell me how my car has **** to do with the new Camaros?

ONCE AGAIN you brought up my car because you know what I said was right

Every single time you get bitch slapped, your only response is something about my build. Just say: "I don't have a response to that because you're right" or something along those lines...it'd be less pathetic.

So the situation requires excuses? I guess I can see that. I'd be pissed if my 60k C7 performed like the one in the video. LS1tech told me it should trap 119 stock, so that 5.0 must be spraying

My preference is x-pipe, but it doesn't matter. The 5.0 did fine.

Both cars are awesome.
I love the 5.0

But I def agree it's like when the 5.0 came out.
Are they beasts stock? No not really.
The lt just came out. Give it time.
The balance will be normalized.
