Lol the ford guys are hilarious the vette was in front until A) he let out or B) he missed a shift

Either way it seems like 5.0 bros will do anything in a video to claim victory. Id say they should have raced again to see who is the winner or the vette should have stayed in it o not missed the gear.

If the vette clearly won the ford guys would have said something along the lines well i hope it won the vettes in a different class blah blah blah lol

Perhaps the vette was going to win in that vid....but didn't for what ever reason.

Yea it does....or atleast equals the 5.0's acceleration . Stock for stock 1LE has the edge and out corners the best handling Mustang to date. It's not a bad thing. Both are quick nice cars.....just the way it is. I know it's hard for you guys to accept after all the **** talking the 5gens get.

I wish my car was sub 3k.....Where do i cry about weight? Not in this thread so your point was?.......Talk about hypocrisy. You whine about my weight yet your not full weight. You're a joke.

I wish it were the case i ran one. Granted he was stock and pulled a bus length on the poor guy. They are nice cars and would take one but i wasn't impressed by it. Does come with some badass tires on the rear and looks damn good.

So your modded 5.0 put a bus on a 5gen......I can believe that. Just as I could believe a modded 5gen put a bus on a stock 5.0. Now here comes the part where options matter. It takes a minimum of a track pak 5.0 to even get near the overall capability of a 1le......and still get stomped in erryting but acceleration. Acceleration could go either way and from what i understand the track pak stang is not the one to have for all out acceleration. Which is why I'm giving the 1LE the edge there stock for stock both cars being driven to their best

I give the edge to the base model 5.0 in the straights because its much lighter. Almost 200 pounds if I remember right compared to the loaded one. Hence the disagreements how fast a 5.0 is. I do think an SS has a bad rap. The gearing is terrible and its a hard car to launch(m6). Not sure why more people don't post what they are getting out of 1LEs as well because due to the transmission it fixes a big flaw-gearing on 3-4. Many people don't realize you can get a 1LE in a base model SS which makes it an excellent buy and a little more affordable for people who don't want a lot of gimmicks on the car.

Snake is non stop bashing on fifgen's. We both know he would be lucky to run with a proper bolt-on one in a straight line......and get his *** curb stomped errywhere else. Why bash on a car that can do that??.....ooohh because furd life

LOL.....so you want to run a h/c/i furd @ 2800lb against stock fifgen.....figures

Majority????? I said proper.....HUGE difference.

Errywhere

Yea man.....gotta use a base 5.0 to get a edge in just acceleration and *** whopped everywhere else.
Weird here you are crying about his fox at 2800 pounds because it beat a lowesy fif gen

Only thing you'll have to coddle is the C7 owner

Why are people still posting in this thread? Dead horse status was reached on page two. Now we're talking about 1LE Camaro's and handling. End it.

There are much more interesting races posted here than some C7 getting his *** whooped by a basically stock 5.0

It cause they finally woke the **** up and put some gearing in those heavy *** cars. 3.91s help that car out alot. But i have 3.31s in my 5.0 and it pulls damn good.

I went 12.4 in bone stock manual. Know few more that have did it also at same track. Same night buddy ran 12.6 in his loaded stock 5.0 a 1le with full exhaust, cold air, tune went 12.7.
