First Death in my C5 Z06 :(

I had a 2010 GT500, trust me, don't be ashamed you lost by not very much. The vette is miles ahead in drivability and just as easy to modify. So many minor issues added up to me trading it in for a truck. Clutch hydraulics, fading brakes, under hood heat, all the electronic nannies took the nuts out of the car. It couldn't deal with imperfect roads at all. I just couldn't live with her, it had to go. Don't regret it at all.
I'd take my stock 2002 SS over my modded GT500 any day of the week.

I was being a bit harsh. I live in Houston, the needs for vehicles here are different than anywhere else. Just too much traffic to use the power, and when you can use it some idiot just cuts you off because they get angry your car is faster and more expensive than theirs. Then there's no where to go. Cars to the left, cars to the right, cars in front, someone tailgating you. It makes you claustrophobic. You have to chill and cruise in it. There's no other choice. The GT500 is not a cruiser. It's an animal. It begs to be romped on every second the engine is turned on. Here it's a waste. You can never win in traffic.
So power doesn't really matter to me anymore. I wouldn't of realized it unless I owned the GT500, but I just want to chill and have fun taking care of the car. Leave the street racing in this city to the ricers.
I don't have issue with running on the street, I gave out my fair share of beatdowns but it's just not a good idea here in the hours I operate. I'd rather be relaxed and get to work late than be angry all day that a minivan jumped into my lane when I was going 90 down I-10. So I hope you see why the car was driving me crazy and why certain issues made me trade it in. I was actually worried I'd do something stupid and wreck it because I'd get so damn mad. So she had to go. Hope the current owner is more level headed than I am.
