Given all the issues this POS ls has been giving me... I would settle for any year gt500 as long as I could get a warranty on it. Sick of working on ****.

You can pick up the 03-04 cars at a pretty decent price did you ever get a chance to drive his car to see how you liked it or rode in it ?

I did, driven a couple of them actually... The shifter/seating position was the only thing I would have to get used to.. Otherwise it felt great. The big Hang up was price really... Iirc he bought it for 24 and I think it sold after he had it for 26. I mean I loved the thing but I couldn't get passed that price. If I was smart I would have bought one new... What were they 33k? Amazing how much they are worth after all these years.

If you're over 5'10" or so, just put the seat all the way back, move the steering wheel down a bit...and get a short shifter

Yeah, it's definitely quite a bit different than an F-body.

I've driven several of my friends F-Body's and I always feel like I'm laying down and the shifter is too close, but I've been driving Mustang's for a long time.

If they're the same price it's a no brainer which one to go with the one who's value is holding up
And will perform better

Yep exactly... Once you get used to it though it's "normal".
