Why do 5.0s run like shit

The 96-98 Cobra's were a blast to drive. I bought a wrecked 96 with a good drivetrain and a 97 with a bad engine. Swapped the 96 into the 97 and sold it for a good profit. I drove it a few months before I sold it. Not crazy fast, just had a few bolt ons but would pull to 7k like it was nothing. Put a Vortech on it and you would have a really fun dd.

So in other words he is saying the 98 cobro is better than a 02 ls1 ws6 or z28 which again isn't true.
The only cobro that mattered is the 03/04 after the fbody was discontinued. Those termis are the only ones worth mentioning besides the cobra r...

Considering I own a 03 Cobra, one could just as early assume that is the car I was inferring. You, wanting to continue the **** talking, decided to pick a Cobra that you feel is inferior instead.
Also, I was referring to the looks only, not the performance. So considering looks are subjective, and you can't force your opinion on anyone else, it is very possible for someone to think 98 Cobro>any F-Body.
And as far as that goes. I do in fact think the 96-98 Cobras looked better than the LS1 Camero.

Grand Nationals are inexpensive? I'd like to know where you are shopping. Anyone that has one for sale thinks the whole interior is crafted from 24k gold.
WS.6's are waaay better looking than the SS Camero. I like center exhaust too, but I'd take my Jeep with center exhaust over the Camero with the optional cme.
Cobro>any f-body. /end
Actually I didn't say 98 Cobro is better than an LS1 F-Body. You came to that ridiculous assumption since I left it open. That is your fault, not mine.

Ok MAC... while I stressed the importance of specificity, implied specificity is just as good;
All those things highlighted are obviously talking about his opinion on the aesthetics of the car(s). He wasn't saying that the N/A Cobras were faster than LS1s.
There is no "actually" when somebody is talking about their opinion on how something looks. That is what he prefers.

SN95's need help to look good. They have a ridiculously high ride height from the factory. Every one of them need lowering springs as the first mod. That and a nice set of wheels and they look 100% better. 10 1/2's in the back fit perfect. The factory offset and 8" wheels is terrible.
This is all my opinion of course...

This thread... DELIVERS!!!!
It is rare in deed, to see so much "stupid" in 1 thread! I love seeing people argue that others opinions are wrong, not to mention seeing so many incorrect "facts" of 80's(and, sadly, 90's) cars which not only tells me I'm getting old, but that I'm highly outnumbered by people who didn't even know what "car" was in the 1980's... Please... continue the hilarity!
Laughter is a good thing!
