The only way to compare the 2 cars is with the same pulley combo upper and lower (Hence the blower speed)not with what supply's more boost..... Boost literally is nothing more than a measure of restriction

And with that same blower speed the ls9 will make way way more power than the 5.8 Islander AKA Special Ed likes to reference... How is this Special Ed. When people pulley a zr1 they put a 2.6-7 pulley on them and make way more than a 2013-14 gt500 does... What is the stock pulley on a 13-14 gt500? 2.6-7 no>? Is that enough "splaining" for you Special Ed?

shelby 2.6 pulley is 16psi stock shelby pulley is 2.7 to make 15 psi

zr1 2.6 pulley is 13.5-14.5 psi

To put this in perspective at 7,000 engine rpm's:

(1) stock 2.7 pulley will turn the blower .......@ 18,726 rpm's


at stock rpms......18,726 the 5.8 dohc makes less power. 662 vs 680


same rpm for the blower, the LS9 outperforms the 5.8 ford.

the LS9 has a few hundred less rpm for more power and torque.

will all of you refrain from calling me a ford nutswinger?
