todd is knowledgeable that's for sure. they just don't look pretty.

I have nothing but good things to say about him. it does need more than porting. changing the runners is where the added power is, then correcting the reflectivity of the bottom.
So it is not about the porting but more about shortening the runners. That ported one above seems like a good deal than.

that IS todds work.
Looking pretty doesn't make power. Polishing adds zero hp. I'm sure you know, you need a slightly rough surface on the intake ports. That way you'll have a thin layer of slower air going over the rough finish while the faster air rides on top of the slower air.

Serious race ported heads look horrible if you're are looking at the pretty factor. Some guys on Speedtalk even leave the finish of a carbide bit on the intake ports. Also keeps the fuel off the floor.

im not saying bad things. that intake was early in the work.
