Default Bolt on C5z vs H/C/I/ C5

C5: BTR Stage 4 Cam. 799 heads, Fast 92 intake, and 1 3/4 headers.

C5Z: Breathless LT's
Borla Stingers
Breathless flash tune
RPM tranny
McLeod RXT
Monster 18lb billet flywheel
Tick MC

Drag
275/40/17 Hoosier DR on a C5Z 17x9.5 out back
185/55/17 M&H on GTO spares up front

Same C5 that got yanked by the Cobra, which got beat by the C5Z.

hard to beat a ls6


Told ya'll that was a **** h/c set up. I like a ls6 and all but there is really no reason a h/c ls1/ls6 should not make more power than a bolt-on ls6.

No, no, no all the people in the thread before told me that h/c c5's were just slow and a pullied cobra could reverse the Earth's rotation.

There was 9 months of bench racing before this race finally took place. Wish there would've been a dig with the vette on DR's but oh well... Until next time

good god i didnt even watch the video before. (couldnt on my phone) but that c5 got drug bad. is it even tuned? if so i'd be beating that guys door down lol

C5 owner needs to do some homework. My h/c C5 yanked the **** outta pullied Cobras with ~50whp more than me. Of course that's typical though.

It's only typical if the cobra owner is a touchdown.

I'm not trying to be irrational about it. 430-435whp 3150lbs C5 yanking approx. full weight 470-490whp pullied Cobras both with equal drivers is typical. Trust me, I like Mustangs just as much as Vettes.
