judging by the latest 5.0 facts that bird has to be at least trapping 120 lol. put some gears in that bird and you would just walk away from the start

good runs man 5.0's are stout

mustang has muffler and resonator delete, intake, E85 tune

Considering the mods on each car the Firehawk did better than expected IMO

How is the fire hawk cam only if it has 243s should have 853 or 241 heads. But it's not like the 15hp of 243s really made the difference here, still though just be clear on what's what

Firehawk looked like it needed maintenance. It should have done a lot better against that practically stock 5.0.

A big 240's duration cam with stock gearing would maybe help explain why Firehawk was so weak down low and strong up top. Both cars probably make similar power as well but with the stang weighing a solid 200 lbs more. Race makes a little more sense now

My old car had a 232/239 with a 2.73 gear, it feels like a turbo car lol.

That hawk would ride with some 4.10s.

Nice kill, and I agree with everyone with the gear. That size tire with that gear is kinda tall, you probably already know that and like alot of us it is always a work in progress. Regardless a properly maintained and driven 5.bro can go pretty good, not bad for a raggity old f-bomb

The term cam only is almost always bogus. That's like saying tune only with DR's, gears, short throw, etc.
