Did you end up deciding to wait to put on that exhaust you bought a few months ago?
I bought headers and ORX (I wont name the brand) and installed them about a month ago, the passenger side header flange was not straight so they leaked bad. Fitment was horrible on the rest of the kit. So I sent them back. I put my stock exhaust back on. I'm probably going to order Kooks or something else... I have a hard time spending 1500+ on headers when they are 1/3 the price for f-body stuff.

Some coyote guys are cool and others are just flat out delusional. Retard on the fb coyote page is telling me how a stock coyote gaps an ls3 c6 stocck and mod for mod lmao
I am doing this BECAUSE you all do it... Cam only this, exhaust only that. GTFO of here with that. Yet, when someone else does it, especially a Ford then everyone seems to lose their mind.

As I said, that isn't the first LS3 Vette he has taken out. He beat a catback and intake one as well which I am trying to get a run with fairly soon.

Corvette tax. One reason why I'm glad I passed on trying to find an 08+ C6. Didn't wanna pay an arm and a leg for mods.

I believe most C6 mods are typically in the same ballpark or less cost than 5.0 mods...??? At least engine/power mods anyways. Headers and exhaust are certainly relatively similar in cost between the two, but most engine mods are definitely less expensive for an LS3.

What exactly am I supposed to say then? I have pounded many coyotes into dust but then again that wouldn't do any good saying that in the argument with him. Fact of the matter is I actually posted real results as opposed to what he did. Which was nothing except pout.

That guy could have had Jesus himself come down and tell him he was wrong but it wouldn't matter. Maybe I misunderstood your response but if you're remotely sticking up for that guy in sorry

people say cam only most everyone knows it means bolt ons as well. Who puts in a cam without supporting mods? When someone says "exhaust" it usually means a catback not lt's etc. however even then when someone asks my mods I tell them so your blanket statement is false.

That's fine if he's beat others, I've beaten cars I shouldn't have either. Doesn't change the fact they're really should have kicked my ***

I was meaning in a bolt-on sense. I'm not sure on the actual engine stuff, but I'm sure it is a close call in money. Rods/Pistons for these cars are around $1900. That's for a forged setup as well as whatever compression you want. Obviously cams will be more expensive, but I will prolly never leave the stock cams in this car.

My blanket statement was not false at all. I simply stated that the car had longtubes, which it does. It has an intake. It also has a tune. Simple as that. You all should be smart enough to know that with longtubes comes a midpipe and catback... Catback's or axle backs aren't going to add **** that you'll notice.

Not unless he comes to me, LOL. That's way too far of a drive for me to do with my schedule.

Corvette tax sucks compared to an fbody, but it really isn't much more than new Coyote stuff.

I think I paid like $1200 or so for my Kooks 1-7/8" Longtubes and orx

I haven't looked for awhile but C6 was around $1500-$1600 back in the day for the same thing. The catbacks are what get expensive on the C6 for the net gain.

agreed. I have been looking for a full 3" axle-back and the cheapest I've found is ~$850 for stainless works I will easily have over 2k just into my exhaust setup.... its sickening.

Sounds like an average LS3 C6. Just imagine what one touched by Jesus would do to a 5.bro
