I bought headers and ORX (I wont name the brand) and installed them about a month ago, the passenger side header flange was not straight so they leaked bad. Fitment was horrible on the rest of the kit. So I sent them back. I put my stock exhaust back on. I'm probably going to order Kooks or something else... I have a hard time spending 1500+ on headers when they are 1/3 the price for f-body stuff.

Funny how 5.0 guys point at ls guys for hiding mod yet they do the same here. Both parties do it so it's whatever just ironic. But ya that car should be a decent race for a ls3 c6 bone stock. Should have went way different here but it is what it is.
Some coyote guys are cool and others are just flat out delusional. Retard on the fb coyote page is telling me how a stock coyote gaps an ls3 c6 stocck and mod for mod lmao

As I said, that isn't the first LS3 Vette he has taken out. He beat a catback and intake one as well which I am trying to get a run with fairly soon.

That guy could have had Jesus himself come down and tell him he was wrong but it wouldn't matter. Maybe I misunderstood your response but if you're remotely sticking up for that guy in sorry

I am doing this BECAUSE you all do it... Cam only this, exhaust only that. GTFO of here with that. Yet, when someone else does it, especially a Ford then everyone seems to lose their mind.

That's fine if he's beat others, I've beaten cars I shouldn't have either. Doesn't change the fact they're really should have kicked my ***

I was meaning in a bolt-on sense. I'm not sure on the actual engine stuff, but I'm sure it is a close call in money. Rods/Pistons for these cars are around $1900. That's for a forged setup as well as whatever compression you want. Obviously cams will be more expensive, but I will prolly never leave the stock cams in this car.

people say cam only everyone knows it means bolt ons. When someone says "exhaust" it usually means a catback not lt's etc. however even then when someone asks my mods I tell them so your blanket statement is false.

Corvette tax sucks compared to an fbody, but it really isn't much more than new Coyote stuff.
I think I paid like $1200 or so for my Kooks 1-7/8" Longtubes and orx
I haven't looked for awhile but C6 was around $1500-$1600 back in the day for the same thing. The catbacks are what get expensive on the C6 for the net gain.
