I'm just up in Orlando, Sounds like we'd be a good run with the edge probably going to you. I wont be stock for long tho, just ordered a Vararam and my buddy is going to toss me a few credits to play with HP tuners.

Well, I put 2 cars in 3rd on a 114-115 trap car the other night and had I ran out 4th instead of letting off at 6k, who knows. Like I said, I'd like to run an LS3 Vette. Stock one I don't think I would lose to as long as I hook. But, anything can happen on the street. Equal drivers I'd say the Vette might have a slight advantage mostly due to aero, but my gearing helps me out a lot because of how aggressive it is. I'm done at 125.
I tried finding an LS3 car before my 5.0, so don't think I DON'T know what they are capable of...

Just FYI, there are at least 3 options out there now (Texas Speed, JBA, and Hinson) for 1 7/8" LT Headers+X-pipe, ceramic coated and all, for less than $1000 for the C6. Z06/ZR1 (3") axleback can be had for around $400-500, and mild to wild controller is cheap if you don't want to just leave valves open. There are absolutely options to mod them cheaply (still not cheaper than fbody obviously).
I have JBA 1 7/8" catless on my car. They went on great with no issues, came ceramic coated, and with V-band flanges for about $1k shipped. Glad I didn't let myself get raped on $1500+ Kooks or ARH.
As far as "cam only" hiding mods... It was always known in the past that cam only meant stock casting unported heads, aftermarket cam, and assorted supporting mods. Heads/Cam meant ported stock casting or aftermarket heads, cam, and assorted supporting mods. I don't know when it got turned into "but bro you have an intake too quit hiding mods"... but it's dumb.

If anyone doesn't know what "cam only" means, they're either a total noob to the racing/modding world. Or they're just dumb. And only an idiot would install an aftermarket cam without supporting mods.

Thanks for the tip. I was hoping to go with an aftermarket 3" axle-back to save weight. I'll probably go with TSP & stainless works, looks like I'll have about ~1500-1600 into a full setup.

Loudblack shoot me a pm i wouldn't mind catching a few runs. I'd like to think I'd beat out a m6 ls3 that's stock pretty easily, I'm right around 3280 without driver. But the automagic in a c6 would help a great deal. I was at 450whp on the dyno last I ran it but have added some stuff, should be closer to 470 ish now
