Don't put a converter yet. Put a colder plug with the right gap, install the kit and put the activation on a hand held button.

I promise you, the most fun you've ever had in a car period. Lol

5th gens with blowers usually roll the **** out. Fortunately for me it was retuned for less horsepower (guy was afraid he had too much power, idiot) and they don't understand air fuel ratio and power to weight.

Yeah, I rocked an old guy from a light with an edelbrock blower 5G vert with a 68 front end swap.

Sounded quiet so let him go first and then heard the whine and was like Fack!

There is a pretty quick TVS 2014 5.0 around here.. with some joosey joose runs high 5's in the 1/8th. Quick car.

You tap one of the paddles and it won't shift UNLESS it makes it to it's programmed shift point RPM. So if I am doing a roll I tap it down to whatever gear I want, go WOT and the car will shift it self once it winds out to it's programmed shift point. It will hold gears and not up shift as well unless you hold the paddle putting it into regular mode or manually shift it yourself.
Yep.. people don't understand the capabilities of the new autos coming out. With mine, I just move the shifter to S mode, go to 2nd gear @ 40-45 and pop back into D when hitting it. D mode is faster on my car(shifts higher rpm than Sport mode). So nail it and let the pooter take over.

I don't really know why they would have set it like that but when I hold it out every little bit of RPM it's faster as long as I don't hit limiter
Can they not adjust your shift points? I am going to dyno my car, and get Lund to adjust my shift points... if I ever get the toon... Still waiting.

Those are the type of guys I like to race and beat.

Around here, they need cam, full exhaust, cai, suspension, DR, and stall to run a tenth and one mph faster than my header orx Br0
Troof. 5th gen at my local 1/8th with full exhaust(headers back), tune etc was running 1 tenth quicker than me in my catback only GT. Talked to the owner... actually a nice guy, said it put down 429rwhp.

Easily done as long as it's not a stroked, 6.2 block swap like your bolt-on cah Hammah.

Just being honest, but the LS1 doesn't compare to the 5.0. The advantage the 4th gen guys have is power to weight. Drop a Yote in a 4th gen, and the car will go a second quicker in the 1/4 stock vs stock.

At what race weight? That's what the LS1 guys like to leave out.

What I have learned from fox body guys and br0's comparing br0's to the 5th gen is that weight is irrelevant

I always felt that you really can't fault a car for coming out of the factory at a lower weight. It seems that today's car are getting fatter each year. This may be because of safety equipment or better interiors and sound deadening. Whatever the reason, this weight difference can keep a race closer that you would imagine between older and newer cars.
Newer cars may be coming out of the factory with more Horsepower today but much of it is being negated by the extra weight they are packing. I think this is what keeps races between a 5.0 and an LS1 close.
I think the difference in Hp only shows itself on the top end but not acceleration.

Negative, my car will have a PD blower on it. Specifically a 2.8-3.2LC or the 2.9 whipple.

I won't be afraid to spin it either.

Will your car rev to 7000?
