looks like the gt had a very delayed start too. No doubting the 6th gen though. they are remarkable and hands down a top performer.

That's what I would have guessed, seen a bunch run at my local track, but I never really knew what the mods were. Saw one go 13 a bunch of times, but he obviously was having a hard time lol

So much truth it's scary, but the gt100 is out, it's all about the 5.bro now

If that was a gt500 it was on 7cyl or something. Even with a 2.2 60'. Looks just like a 5.0 time/mph. It sounded stock too.

The blower must have been behind the wheel in that one

I always knew the blower whine had to be coming from behind the wheel and not underneath the hood. That must explain nice dyno numbers and low street performance.

Think about it in another way. There are 10sec capable stock cars out there. Has been for years........none of them are sra

How many sra cars are produced these days?

SRA cars aren't produced as much because IRS is better on the street, as it rides a hell of a lot better. You can use your logic for FWD vs RWD... and we all know the winner of that debate as far as performance goes.

Yes....irs is better. That's why you do not see sra cars anymore ans also why you see some of the incredible 60's on stock tires. If i am not mistaken there are also bonestock suspended irs cars in the 9s these days.

Times and technology have changed.....get over it.

The A8 6Gs rather nice stock stall, gearing, weight, and power have a lot to do with that. 5Gs weren't cutting very good 60's out of the box in comparison.

In all fairness, fbodies and many other cars have ran hard on stock and stock style suspension.

Physics stay the same mang. I'm sure someone from a rear end manufacturer can go all science on you and explain anti-squat and ****, but live axle > IRS in drag racing. end of story.
