I could see someone not wanting one over a new car with similar power. Since new cars are so nice to drive. Smooth and comfy. The 03-04 Cobras aren't wining any interior comfort awards. But then again neither are 4th gens. I would rank my Cobra interior marginally better than the '99 z28 I had.

Yeah when I first got my car around 8 years ago he interior was still decent for the time. Now it seems really cheap compared to new cars even though it's mint

Any car with a 10-15 yr spread is gonna be lacking in interior. Designs, manufacturing techniques and materials improve with time. If anything I think the look of forfgen interiors has held up well and for their time were pretty damn nice. remember these cars came out in 1993. The right double din radio really updates their look too.
And tbh the monsoon system sounded better than the mustang until at least 2014 lol. I haven't heard a 15+

Yea I love the 4thgen cockpit. Pedal placement/shifter placement is top notch. The converter hump never bothered me. I either prop my foot up on it or if my legs are straight then it don't even touch it.
A vehicle wih a much more bothersome awkwardness is the super duty trucks. You have to angle your hips on the passengers side or your ankle is at a odd angle because of the intrusion of the trans tunnel.
