Poppas car is runny hard for the mods imo. He's the only one posting up numbers and getting runs in .
Why don't the rest of you do the same instead of downing his ride
Half the people talking **** to him, haven't run their cars. The other half are waiting for a -2000DA day and started cutting water weight to get the best times.

Again to clear it up. DA wasn't negative 2000 for the 118-120 trapping cars it was -800-900.
The positive DA car could be modded IDK.
Just seen another post today. 12.10@115 in +1500 DA. Stock and stock tire.
Like I've said I think you run with a stock drag pack a8.
In other news I can't take it anymore. I might be selling my truck and using my parents leftover van for a winter ride lol. Got a 14 Silverado LTZ z71 I love but just can't have both till its paid off and I'm too impatient.
I'll put 10 down on the SS and my payment will be lower than it is now.
Production for the 17 starts in June and that's when I'll likely order.
1ss a8 in red.
Who's close to lower Michigan with a stock or near stock 5.0 that wants some later this summer?
Went to the track today.. had a decent day. No changes from before. According to the datalog, it looks like the car isn't pulling as much timing in 3rd gear as it was before. Unsure, but maybe the oil catch can I added a few weeks ago helped, and the oil has started to clear out of the intake.. who knows. Got new personal best ET and trap today. Now debating on taking the cats off the car, and getting a NA stall to play around with until I go FI.. then can sell that stall for a FI one.
Nice run!

I'm not sure what the DA was on Sat, but the same 6th gen Hammer posted earlier ran a few 12.00s (still bone stock). With a few mods he should be right there with you. Amazing how close these cars are, def a drivers race.
Either way, its a good time to be in the hobby as the hp wars seem to be alive and well (would be even better if I could afford a new car, haha).

Congrats man! Its hard to wait it out when you want something bad.
The 6gens are averaging whet I thought they would. Mid to low 12's in non-mineshaft DA. And 114-116 will be the NORMAL traps for them.
I am a little far away from Michigan for a run.. but you need to come to our November MIR get together. We can play there.

Thanks man. Again, I figured average 6gen times will be mid to low 12s with the A8 cars. 114-116 traps. I think I could be a good race for a tune/tire 6gen same day same track. Would be fun.
DA wise, I have no idea why, but Rockingham has always been a day behind on their dates on the slips. My runs were yesterday the 17th actually. One thing I noticed also is Drag times DA will show lower DA there than it actually is. They have track elevation at 200ft, where the actual elevation is 431? ft. www.airdensityonline.com seems to have accurate DA data for the track. DA yesterday varied from 200ft to right at 1000ft.. car ran fairly consistent.

Where is MIR?
Depending on the weather November is pushing it. That's about the time they go in the garage for the winter with storage insurance only...
