I have a buddy that has a boosted 4th gen that isn't even proper and it will hurt a lot of feels if you ever get this way.

Edit: Even the guy that built my trans has a bone stock looking ss 4th gen with factory wheels that runs high 8's. Imagine what it'd do if he put a drag pack and suspension on it.

Both of these example are light weight vehicles... especially the S10, and I am sure your buddies is not full weight.
Full factory interior, and weight S550s on stock motor with twins have gone high 8's. Its all good though. Fast cars are fast cars...
Would be interesting to know what that S10 and your buddies 4th gen raceweights are though.

To be honest, I forgot to look at that when I was there. I meant to because I was curious about it, but he also has a turbo truck and another fbody he just picked up that we were looking at. I'll have to message him and find out. I know that I couldn't believe it ran what it did when I saw it, especially with that converter in it.
I'm interested in seeing what his truck runs this year. It's an older chevy with a pt88 on it also. It was mid 10's last year, but he just swapped the cam and added a 100 shot on it in hopes to break into 9's.
