Both of these example are light weight vehicles... especially the S10, and I am sure your buddies is not full weight.
Full factory interior, and weight S550s on stock motor with twins have gone high 8's. Its all good though. Fast cars are fast cars...
Would be interesting to know what that S10 and your buddies 4th gen raceweights are though.

Actually they ran well past the 1/4.....i guess it takes to long for the boss to spool the turbo. Must be one of those gay cars that has to bigga turbo and needs nos to spool it for him.

Nothing to do with spooling and everything to do with traction... But hey, it really isn't hard to get traction in a 410whp full suspension tin can, eh? You really wouldn't know much about the issue...

The boss looked faster up top, but the vette was faster from the bottom. Or the guy in the vette is a way better dig driver than the guy in the boss. Doesn't matter how much power you have. If you are spinning it's driver error.
I'm not saying it's easy and I wouldn't do it, but it would be my fault if I did.
