2 for 1 Porches
I haven't posted here in a while. Been busy. I had to tell this one though.
Was heading to work one morning, stopped at a light about three cars back in the middle lane. Light turned green and I heard a screeching of tires. After I got a clear view I saw 2 IDENTICAL silver Porche Carreras racing from the line.
They took off and as soon as I could get around traffic sped up so that I would be in the front in the far laft lane during the next light. I don't even think they evn noticed me. Light turned green and we all punched it. They both got about a half a car length jump on me and I barley started pulling on them right before we let off for traffic.
I rolled down my window at the next light, and looked over at the guy next to my car to ask him how much he paid, but he wouldn't even acknowledge me.
Must suck to know that you almost got your *** handed to you by a car that cost less than half as much as yours.

I own my favorite car in the world. (Yes I know it's just an f-bod). However, if I were to ever hit the lotto, a 911 would be in the garage with it. Just the refinement, quality, handling alone, not to mention the looks. Like pdd said, where's my ticket.

If money was no object, I'd have a GT2 in my garage.
But since I'm one of the unfortunate ones that has to work hard for my money, the Z will do for now......

Promotion at work, more work, bought a house, moved, more work, lots of partying, and spending a lot of time in the internal and external section.
I just got my TCI 3500 in the mail yesterday, my KOOKS LT's and ORY will be here tomorrow, and they will be getting installed next week a long with a Dyno Tune.
I went to a dyno day with my car club and was really dissappointed with my 290rwhp and 305 rwtq at 10:1 A/f. So I got a really bad itch.
In about 6 months when I get the rest of the cash I am getting LPE ported and polished LS6 heads and cam installed. I found a great place that is actually part of a dealership that sold so many Corvettes that they opened thier owm Performance shop. He is getting me LPE LS6 heads for 2 grand. LPE wants 2600 for that. So I am saving every penny.
Driving Carlos' car and seeing it on the Dyno right before mine didn't help either.

And, No, about about 7-10 more days. Sucks though, my drive to work is 32 miles now, so I and buying a beater to drive everyday. I finally get the HP and it is going to sit in my new garage all day. I guess it will just be sweeter when I take it out.
