4.10 is way too much for 4L60, puts you down in third at like 70 MPH

It's not too much gear for a city DD that I plan on running 28s in.. I had a 68 firebird with sb400 and a th350.. And 4.56s..lol I love the 4.10s with the exception of a 28

In OD I do 70moh at 2500rpm..its not terrible lolol

That trap seems rather low for a m6 car too

My buddy ran 12.1@119 in an m6 car with header orx 91 tune on stock 235 tires

Interesting he ran 12.1 at 119 with 235 when that is what Its stock ran with drag pack and similar mods. Must have gotten a great 60' on the 235

Oh yes you are correct. I was considering 3.73 when I change over to a 8.8/9"..and when I did 4.10 I thought for sure I'd have taller daily tires by now 2756015 was what I wanted but then I found zr1 wheels with tires for $180 soo.. I'm still WOT at 70 for now...

He somehow managed to cut a 1.8X 60 or something like that.

He also has been to the track many times and didn't have issues shifting into gears or bump stops like itstock did.

119!! That's dope.. I haven't seen that yet with those mods down here. But my dudes only got mufflers Bama tune and air raid... I bet headers and real tunes would destroy his setup

Headers, orx, Lund tune. Was still on stock axleback and stock resonators.

Me and the OP were just talking about this after the races. Very few cars that can hang with the new stuff coming out with just bolt ons. And you'd be hard pressed to find one cheaper then a f-body.

Agreed, my lt1 car had 4.10's with a 4l60. Worked great, although I was running a larger tire than stock as well

Guy on tech here is running around mid 11's with a pretty basic bolt on ls1 Trans am with 4.10's and a 4L60e

ahh ok...the 3rd run looked like the most even start. needless to say you won overall. That is how I like to race...do a dig, then a couple lower rolls for each cars sweet spot. Too bad we are not closer, I would like to come out and play with you guys. Hard to find good races these days where the opposition is not trying to jump or pull a one and done.
