I raced one last fall with similar mods(to the 119 car) that went 118 with a shitty 2.5 60ft. he had some.videos of hanging right with a E55 AMG and Z06, but I rolled up him up good from a 40.

That's what I thought someone traping 119 with a 1.8 and not going 11s seems odd to me... But power to wieght hci ls1 should win vs bolt on 5.0.. I mean cam only ls1 can trap 117ish...

61cc tea 243 ls6 heads, mild cam, ported fast 92. 11.4 compression. just street tuned, no dyno time yet.

speedo vid 10-125


speedo and rpm both lag behind according to hp logs...when I shift at 6500 according to the tack it is actually 69-7000rpm in the data log.

Car runs strong! I'd say you'd definitely trap in the low-mid 120s. That poor br0 didn't have a chance.

It scoots that's for sure. It still doesn't have a Chris1313 on it yet. Been trying to get him to put one on. It made a noticable difference on my car.

It's next on the list, just was not sure if I was going to ditch the lid setup and do a 4" pipe setup or go Chris1313.

Nice runs. I figured the bro would catch up top end. I seen new bros hit 13.1 111 in Florida. If you have a head cam car and can't beat a bolt on bro there is something very wrong with the car or your choice in combo

No need to. Many ls1 cars have run 11s full weight. Be wise about the parts you choose and don't add a bunch of sub frame connectors and **** to your car and it will lose weight indirectly

Hahaha that was one n thing I wanted to do next.. Lol maybe I'll remove the same wieght or something, or to you suppose subframe aren't necessary?

I have to agree here.. I'm kinda taken back when I see a lighter car aking more power than a 5.0 lose to them on YouTube.. Then again no 2 drivers are the same lol

Good runs. But from what I could tell runs 1 and 2 you got the jump. Mine has a noticeable delay gearing down when I leave it in D also. That was the issue when me and Mappins ran.. first 2 runs, I left it in D and it looks like he was jumping the start but he wasnt. Just delay on my downshift.

Run 3, it appeared to me an even start. Good races either way! Most people on here just talk about races... its always fun to see people post actual races they did, and not youtube vids.
