Im in Florida and that night it was pretty cold I guess the weather netted me more mph?? I don't think 4.10s helped at really. I got Dyno tuned just before the track on a Mustang Dyno with 341/356 before the ls6 intake..I'm wondering what difference I'll see with ls6 tuned

Ok, got it. I have speed eng 1 7/8 big headers, I do not have an under drive pulley which would give you that MPH bump easily.

The pulley I feel like helped my rpms climb a little faster. I should've done 1 7/8 but I refuse that install procedure again just for a few ponys cam swap long before new headers lmfaoo

Everyone tells me to do a pulley. I am not going to because I just don't want to do any more mods at all, but if i could go back when i was modding and do the pulley i would. I actually did not mind the installing of the headers AT ALL, it was super easy. I HATED pulling the exhaust manifolds off that only had 15K miles since i took them off and installed new gaskets when i had the motor dropped out. 4.10 is steep for a automatic, but with my 3.42 my car loses a lot of steam it has to make up when I go from 2nd to 3rd.

I did not have my spare tire or jack in teh car when i ran 12.5, but I had also removed all the AC components since my compressor had taken a dump. But it did not help at all

A good stall with some shift extension will fix that 2-3 shift lag for you tremendously.

Part of me wishes my RPM shift was set at 6,400 but I have stock springs and did not want to take the chance

Even with 4.10s we need stalls... Mine also shifts into a dead area.. What hio said is true I just don't have the funds or time to have it tuned afterwards lol... The headers... I had my car in the air maxed out on 3 ton stands... And still wasn't high enough I had to use 6 ton truck stands then the passenger header just fell right in lol

You would benefit MUCH MORE from a stall. And I doubt the stock cam makes much power up there.

Drivers side header can go in from the top. Maybe that was your problem.

Oh I understand. I only work on a lift and I did not think about it being done not on one. I forget its not common.

Car makes peak power all the way to 6200 almost. Would have benefit from an actual shift point of 6300 but the car rarely shifts at 6,200 but when it does it is a seat of the pants difference believe it or not. I was going to do a stall but not anymore I have serious priorities that need organizing. I am actually moving to a town close to Poppa

Glad to hear about the upgrade. I'd think you should see a 10hp bump at least.

The only thing I miss about being a mechanic... Access to a lift and all my air tools whenever I need.... I would already have a stall heads and cam if I could do have this **** not on the ground lol
