I likely wouldn't be far off. My car only makes about 30 more hp than it did with the ls1 toon. From the ls1 tune to tuning the ls6 it only pick up 5whp. I made 398whp on the ls1 toon

Well look at you. Confirming that the 4v is not a replacement for the 2v.....thanks.
I done said i ran the ls1 tune to 12.0 or 12.1. Ls1 fuel rail.....check.
i coulda used the ls1 intake but i already had the egr turned off so no reason to. I was gonna buy a ls6 intake for the ls1 anyway. Btw.....how well does a 4v intake fit a 2v?
Ls1 steam port you don't use with a ls6 intake even on a ls1......unless its a 01 02 steam port. So yea i used a 01 ls1 steam port.

In that case, because an LS6 intake will not bolt on to an LS1 motor without grinding the bottom, or swapping the coolant lines, then it's considered a swap as well.
Won't bolt directly on and work = swap.
Bottom line, if it didn't come in your car from the factory, it's a swap. Even if you swapped in a junkyard LS1, it's still an engine swap. Try your logic on the 69 Z28 crowd and see what happens.

That's just it idiot....a modular don't just drop right in. We've already been over some of the changes needed.
Now a ls6 die drop right in. No changes needed.

We used to have a bunch of footage of racing. I'm not sure where it all it went.
So even though pretty much any modular will drop right in and hook up to the factory wiring harness and run on the factory tune, it's considered a swap because it uses a different intake and exhaust manifold? Even though you get all of that **** with the new motor.
