It had a lot to do with the picture angle. I took it from about two feet off the ground straight on with his driver fender and I was parked deeper in my spot.
In person the gt350 still looks like it's a bigger vehicle tho from any angle but not that drastic

I was just making this point on another thread last month. Surprises me how big the cars have gotten in this segment. Anytime I park my TA next to a 5th Gen Camaro, newer Challenger, or newer Mustang (to a lesser extent) the TA looks tiny. Lol. Never realized how much larger from an exterior dimensions standpoint they had grow .

Thanks man. Pretty happy with the Magnaflow cat back. My personal preference does not lean toward extremely loud exhaust on street cars. The magna flow is pretty mellow at idle and cruising but wakes up under heavy throttle. Perfect for my taste.

Who is this? Link?

A cammed 1LE, should be easily a 120+ trap car in the 1/4.

I have seen some weak ones out there too. A proper cam and supporting mods should have no trouble hiting 120s. Then again, it all depends on the owner/driver.

Well this went down last night and it was anticlimactic. First off, I don't have a go pro and I can't drive and shoot video so I got nothing. Wouldnt have mattered anyway. We didn't do a roll b/C we didn't want to drive out to a freeway. Just a few digs on a back road about 2 min away.
The car was new to him and by his own admission he hadn't driven a stick in a while. We did half a dozen pulls and they where all the same. I smoked him by car lengths. Not b/c my cars awesome and GT350s suck or because I am some stud driver. It was because this cat straight up can't drive. Lol.
He did let me drive it when we were done ******* around. It was really nice and it sounds awesome. It scoots pretty well and you can wind that bastard up past 8k. I guess for 50 large it should. It was cool to get to drive one but kept thinking of all the other **** I could do with $50K.

I guess but I don't give it much thought b/c I don't have $50K to burn anyway and just got out of car payments and I ain't rushing back in.
My next car is going to be a classic that I throw an LS in. Just got to find the right roller for the right price.

You and me both. Vette sounds nice but I got 2 little guys so I really do need the back seat. There are roughly 40,000 reasons I don't have one. Lol. I really don't drive much anymore since I work at home. That makes having an expensive car even harder to stomach. I'm just never in it. When I drove a lot for work i have an expensive *** (for me anyway) RAM 1500 Longhorn. Air suspension, heated and ventilated seats...the whole nine. It was worth it b/c some days I spent 5 hours in it. One month of working at home and making that payment while seeing it sit outside getting killed by the sun.....sold. Took the money I made on it and bought a 2012 VW CC cash. Texas sun is tough on a car. With the TA and my wife's car in the garage there ain't no more room for mine. I know, 1st world problems....

I'd say it depends on the cam and driver, but anything manly sized, the 1LE should have a little advantage, but I think passengers or full tank is enough to make one or another win.

From all the reviews floating around, it seems like the GT350 is a 117-118mph car, and its hard to launch, like all the man 5th gen.

My super-full weight cammed 1LE(TSP 231/236) is trapping 118mph at my local track(basic build). I'll be back there in kill mode(some weight out with drag wheels..I guess 120mph ).
A track where a boltons Stingray traps 117, a brand new Z06 does 125mph, boltons GTR 2012' 10.7@125(100 octane), Hellcat 121-122, Supercharged 5.0(2011') 120, C6 Z06 stock with slicks 120-121. It is a rough track. A stock 2015' 5.0 was running 13.5@106.
I did 113.8mph boltons, some weight out but stock wheels&tires, besides a C7 doing 113mph all day.

I thought about picking up a nice clean 5th gen but they just haven't gotten cheap enough for me yet. It seems like they take a beating on tech but I figured it would be a fun daily. Either I am cheap as well (likely) or my expectations of what a 3-4 year automobile should cost is way off base (also likely).
