Low Sausage '16 Bro vs. No Sausage 16' SS

So Phil's car on 93octane tune, catback only.... still have cats and stock manifolds, stock intake.... stock airbox(I dont have cai), and street wheels/tires. vs
mine on 93octane, the catback it has... still has cats, stock manifolds, airbox etc, on my SVE Drift 19x9.5 wheels with 275/35-19 Invos on all 4 corners.
Correct?

Truth. Best 60ft on the Invos was 1.85. Best 60ft on the Drag radials? 1.78. The only thing they are helping me with is being consistent and not having to worry about spinning. A stall would work WONDERS on my ET. I am also reading/researching a new CAI that seems to have finally had the bugs worked out... PMAS. 120mm and 5" tube. Dyno tested to gain 17ish rwhp and 21tq over stock intake w/ tune.. same day, same dyno.. just swapped out and maf transfer function(provided by PMAS) changed in the tune. So I may have a CAI soon other than my unused Steeda sitting in the spare room.... still will be LBO tho. There are a couple of cars with same mods as me with exception of the PMAS intake that are trapping 120mph.
Yep... with Hio crew there will always be something shady. He wouldn't let me race Phil and gap him mod for mod like we know I will. He will have something up his sleeve.

Nothin shady....just not sayin. Basic stuff really.
Funny the intake you tried before slowed you.
Yea i understand that info. I also understand that you can not use a 1600cfm intake.

Phil himself said this 1LE "feels stronger". That is the basis for the ricing.

That c5 fast list is a joke. Camaro5 is mostly from a joke. Nothing but a bunch of glow light, 22" wheel, lambo door, bumble bee wearing chumps up in there (with some exceptions).
I would not take thay list very seriously.
#366
Yes C5 is like that, show me a better list though.
#367
There probably wont be... Not for a lont time.
The 1LE cars havent been out that long. The cars were not designed for drag racing. The few 1LE guys that are real gear heads take them to an actual road course, what the car was designed for. There are a few of us knuckle draggers, that decided to take the car and street race it. Most of us arent worried about getting on list on camaro5. We let the car do the talking.
Best believe that this car is every bit as capable as a 5.0 out on the street, if you know what you are doing.
Again, the bad rep the 5th gens have, has been mostly due to the owner base. Most 5th gen guys are complete goobers. Most mustang guys are gear heads. With exceptions in both camps. The real advantage the mustang has had, has been the owner base. Reality is that both the ls3 camaro and 5.0 mustang are a very tight match with a tiny edge for the stang (nothing the right owner/driver in the camaro, can't overcome). The 16 SS advantage over both, is quite larger.

1LE nor any LS3 5th gen is a 106mph car. You are in denial if you think that. L99 yes(early years). Mine did 109mph stock and 110.5 with a CAI IIRC. And thats not on a good track. I was there going the same trap as the 5.0.
#369
Fastest I've seen a full exhaust ls3 m6 5G trap at the track was 110-111.
#370
No denial, fast list and personal experience speaking here.

5th gen are hard to launch, true. They are track capable, like Zyborg said, a binch of owners and Camaro5 members are more about cosmetics than going down the 1/4.
#374
So what track were you at?
#375
Zyborg with troof bombs. Sometimes I dislike the "me-too" aspect of my s197 Br0 at the track. Always a crap ton of s197 and s550 Br0s at the track running with maybe 1 or 2 5Gs running and another 2-3 5Gs hard parked watching the runs or "showing" their cars.
Fastest I've seen a full exhaust ls3 m6 5G trap at the track was 110-111.

**edit that is with the stock 2.5" catback& NPP mufflers. Full exhaust would be a proper full 3" exhaust. So I wasnt full exhaust".

I did 113.8 full exhaust. Another SS was trapping 114mph 2 weeks ago(SS are geared better for the 1/4 cause they dont need to shift into4th like the 1LE). Same day a stockish 5.0 2013 did 13.1@110.

Shut up clown
I'm sure it runs good but like i said you will easily drop 3~mph in that form. If yall were to run don't show in that form unless you really like lookin at the *** of a 5gen.
Lol....
We're not "them people".....i have mods all over this site on my own car and look how many tears get shed on it. Just not sayin. Not my car to say and you guys are "them" cryin type people
Lol if you think one of those intakes will get you 120.
