That is ******* ridiculous. Cars made now are whole different animals than they were even 10 years ago.

Especially if you had to have a blue oval on your hood. Most of it is transmission, gearing and suspension. Power has been there a long time for the GM camp. No male enhancement superchargers needed.

As much as I agree with this since I prefer NA motors, power is power no matter how it is made. In addition, if less power is made at the motor (within reason comparatively) but the trans and diff gearing is more aggressive, the car can still ET well at the track and be a handful on the street from light to light.

just my opinion though

Ford has made the same, and in some cases more power than GM on various occasions. While I agree the 98-02 Mustangs were less than stellar, the 03/04 Cobras had the LS camp running skurred.

I like power adders. I like 4v's too. Just one bank rather than two.

Cobras were good. Fixed in bold. I like Mach1's, S197's and S550's are nice.

I'm talking about cars in general, no matter what the brand. These are the "good ole days."

How did they have the LS camp running scared? The LS7 came out one year later.... Pretty sure the 03/04 Cobra is no match....

he said LS camp. ls7 was third quarter of 2005! Either way the ls6 Z06 in 2004 was enough to take out the cobro
