First gen 2006 CTS-V vs R35 2012 Nissan GTR *video*
2012 Nissan GTR is stock.
2006 Cadillac CTS-V isn't.
Runs went from 30 up to 80.... The 60 roll was the main one, with us going up to the moon in the speedo. There were multiple runs, and unfortunately this video only has 1 camera angle. There was other camera that was forward facing, but didn't record \ overwrote its own data.
First run was 30 roll which is a bad spot for my V1. I dropped into 2nd, in the hopes of not spinning... but spun any damn way all thru 2 and 3. By the time I started finding traction, I was doomed and not making any ground up. Lost by about 3 car lengths.
Second run was 40 roll. V1 by about 2-3 cars up to around I think 120, 130.
Third run was 60 roll. V1 by about 3-4 cars up to about 140-150, maybe higher.
Fourth was 80 roll. V1 by about 3 cars up to around 140.
From a dig, I know I'd be 10 cars behind. LOL Still dialing in ramp and delay on this setup for digs. M6 car on radials doesn't help... but no option for bias plys or drag pack with 6 lug hub and brembos.
We will be re-running it soon.

I miss Hitman coming to the rescue of all the GTR losses.

Good kills! I agree with Nick. Nothing like seeing some nice American muscle taking out a GTR.
Nice job.
BTW, was it a major project to get that 8.8 rear in? Did you need custom axles?

Wasn't difficult with that hardware to mount everything in at that point.

Sounds like a nice kit that takes all of the guess work out of it. I am assuming you just had to weld in the new brackets and then mount the rear. Any changes needed for your drive-shaft?

Thanks. Had this car since before you got rid of yours and with 154k on the clock being the DD, I doubt its going anywhere.
LOL He woke up in a sweat... 'ugh ugh american car ****... nismo... best in world... ramble ramble' right back to bed.
Adapter for DS. All included. No welding needed. It was all mounting points. Makes use of prev locations, etc.
