Change of times, man. Autos are more and more efficient, even at near stock power levels. I agree that manuals are more fun for cruising around, but I can see the appeal with the newer automatic performance cars. Especially ones that will be pulling daily duty.

I have no problem going neck and neck with a 125mph trap car. Especially when the car was only light bolt ons and a stock motor. And it was a 125mph trap car. I watched it run down the track the day it did it. In 80* weather. FBO Coyote with a drag pack and no rear seat. on 93 octane too.
