Phil is not a ringer car....lmao. No offense to Phil but he went out there half-assed and in the spirit of good fun only. Marginal "tune" (i wouldnt even call, raising the rev limiter, a tune). Rock hard stock 20" street tires, knowing damn well he would be doing 1st gear rolls vs a very efficient automatic on race stars and drag radials. Poppa on e85, claiming "it din' do nutin'". 5G still managed to pull / win races. All after how it was stated several times that it would take H/C/I/E to even keep up with a 3 mod bro.
A dig race would have been very bad for Phil. That's why they refused to do one against nanner.
Poppa never wanted and has never posted a dig. We gave him his runs.

This very true. Phils car should've been tuned. Although the power side of the tuning was probably fair.....not optimal but ok. Certainly ok enough to outrun poppacry. The torque management side of the tune was way bad and killing it on every upshift.
Tip to 5gen owners. Unplug your clutch switch. It can be tuned out but the clutch switch seems to trigger it.

Absolutely.... He saw he was getting pulled up top, so he wanted digs to mazimize his obvious advantage with the auto/drag radials/race stars/drag suspension....
Bottom line. Poppa's car was faster at the drag strip or from a dig and Phils 5G was faster on the highway.
I'm sure after months of Hio giving Poppa **** for not doing digs, he offered to do a dig.

Stock tired 5gen never gonna be great from a dig. I see no reason to look for obvious advantages on friendly run.......cobrohomo crew sure does tho. They're a sad bunch
